Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using cloudresume.io, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service description
cloudresume.io is a resume builder for developers. The service allows you to create, edit, and publish resumes to a public subdomain, export them as PDF, and integrate with GitHub.
Accounts
You must create an account to use cloudresume.io. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
Your content
You retain ownership of all content you create on cloudresume.io, including resume text, uploaded photos, and any other data you provide. You grant us a license to store, display, and transmit your content solely to provide the service. You can export your data at any time in JSON Resume format.
Published resumes
When you publish a resume, it becomes publicly accessible. You are responsible for the content you publish. Do not publish content that infringes on others' intellectual property, contains false information presented as fact, or violates any applicable law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: • Use the service for any unlawful purpose • Publish content that is defamatory, harassing, or obscene • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts • Interfere with the service's operation or infrastructure • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
Free and paid plans
cloudresume.io offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of your billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
Intellectual property
The cloudresume.io service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us. Resume templates are provided for your use within the service. Your use of the service does not grant you any ownership rights in the service itself.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@cloudresume.io. Upon termination, your published resumes will be taken offline and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that published resumes will always be accessible. We are not responsible for hiring decisions or outcomes related to your use of the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, cloudresume.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which cloudresume.io operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
